I'm very interested to hear if pod000's connection is showing any signs of improvement as he is on my exchange

Still the same here too. as you have just been advised the problem looks like it will be going on till Thursday.

Re: Congestion?

speed was down from between 64-70mbs to 45-50mbs for about 2 months.
10 minutes ago my internet went a bit silly and when it came back up im now back up to 67mbs
although ping now has gone up a little and includes some jitter

Re: Congestion?

Seemed fine tonight a few lag spikes on Xbox I took multiple speed tests and a few http://speedtest.btwholesale.com/ tests all were good.

And now-:
BQM for today -: bit of packet loss but has been ok after 8pm.
@pod000 - And I thought I had issues Grin

Re: Congestion?

I wish I had those speeds, another day of slow speeds, I am going to use my tethered mobile as at least I get 7 Mbps in stead of my crappy 0.34Mbps, no updates from plusnet either, leaves me wondering if I should of switched only 2 months ago. If only I had taken out the 30 day contract .

Re: Congestion?

@emmanneil
I've just taken a look at your line and can see that you've had a low sync event which temporarily caused your speeds to drop. Things look to have recovered now, can you confirm that this is the case?

Re: Congestion?

@chris it has slightly improved but still only 1.7 rather than the 2.39 I used to get, also my upload speed is capped I think as this is still a paltry 0.32.
Is there any chance I can get adsl2+ I asked for this when I joined and was told that someone would look into this and get back to me as to when/if the twigworth exchange has adsl2+ and if not when BT plan to upgrade it.
2mb is what I used to get when I live din cyprus whose infrastructure is poor at best, surely I can get better speeds that this?

Re: Congestion?

Sorry for jumping in on this post to the original poster,
Here is a print of my speed test
Test Date: Mar 27, 2013 13:44
Connection Type: Wired
Server: Gloucester
Download: 1.75 Mbps
Upload: 0.30 Mbps
Ping: 51 ms
External IP: 146.90.xxx.xxx
And the guys at the beginning thought they had problems, I can only dream of speeds like that

Re: Congestion?

@emmanneil
I'm just getting in touch with our suppliers to try and get your speeds pushed back up.

Re: Congestion?

If you would like your upstream speeds uncapping, you would need Max Premium. I can get that added on for you, but I would advise reading through the FAQ guide first.
Your downstream speeds should improve over the next hour or so.
