Do you know what we mean by "1/4 port wireless router"?


This afternoon I met someone who wanted to recommend Option 2 to a friend but didn't because they would only be able to connect a single computer via the router.
What do you think?

How about the real answer;
I can connect many "wired" and many "wireless" computer at the same[color=red]*[/color]

* [color=black]additional hardware required (Network switch).

Yep, but it's so much nicer not to have another power supply plugged in the wall.
Is there much of a cost difference between single and 4-port routers anymore?

As the 1 port router actually allows 2 wired connections Ethernet & USB, none of the answers are correct. Tongue

The results are conclusive on this forum which shows that you're a clued-up group of people.
We'll try the same poll on the member centre next to see if the results are the same.
