Good point, a donation to my local MP after all with this latest scandal he may not be able to get another Apple Mac off the tax payer, or buy one of the best located houses in the town (though he owns two houses...) and if he buys a 3rd he may not be able to furnish it!  Yep, I'd donate £5 to my MP (if he retired) 

£45m is a heck of a lot of money, putting aside £15m for 2 big charities (RNLI/First Air) and then 5m for local donations would help alleviate the guilt I would feel as I jetted to Japan (first class naturally  Grin) and keeping 30m in the bank would secure not only my future, but the kids that I would have with the money grabbing super gorgeous girl who can't divorce me because of the pre-nup, with trust funds and stuff set up keeping my kids, grandkids etc.. in a suitable lifestyle  Lips Sealed

Well if i won the lottery i'd buy out B.T hire plusnet and set up my own isp,donating all my money to more bandwidth and selling broadband upto 2mps for £3.99pm,Contract would be a five year one

We have a young man living in our town.  He was the biggest individual lottery winner at the time.  He bought a small development of houses where he lives with his family.

Personally I don't play the lottery as I see it as a bit of a scam, one of my in-laws though is lottery daft, as they reckon a lottery win will solve their debt problems and will spend between £5 - £15 every day on scratch cards and lottery tickets, not realising that the money they are spending is responsible for some of the debts they are getting into

Only applies to family members and grandchildren. It's taxed on a decreasing basis depending on number of years, after gift, that person dies.
