Hi, I have switched to Plusnet from Talktalk for broadband and phone a few month ago. When I switched, Plusnet told me that my phone line can get a speed of 5~6 Mpbs, which is what I got when I with talktalk in the past. After I switched, the broadband speed is OK for about two months, then it started giving me problems. Sometimes it will drop connection randomly, it also took a few attempts to reconnect. In the last few weeks, the speed dropped singificantly. Here is what I get on the router
Your Plusnet adviser may ask you for the following information:
1 - Product name: Plusnet Router
2 - Serial number: N71510xxxxxxxxx
3 - Firmware version: 7.275.2_F2704N_Plusnet
4 - Board version: F@ST2704N
5 - Mode ADSL
6 - Uptime: 0 days 00:50:02
7 - Data rate: 1111/1123
8 - Maximum data rate: 1124/1260
9 - Noise margin: 6.1/12.1
10 - Line attenuation: 24.3/41.0
This is what I got on the BT wholesale test
1. Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Download Speed
1 Mbps
0 Mbps 1 Mbps
Max Achievable Speed
Download speedachieved during the test was - 1 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.4 Mbps-1 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 0.99 Mbps
2. Upstream Test: -provides background information.
Upload Speed
0.95 Mbps
0 Mbps 0.83 Mbps
Max Achievable Speed
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 0.95Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.83 Mbps
I also did the thinkbroadband test which gives a result at http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results.html?id=1450391274236155155
I did the phone line quite test by dialing 17070, and it seems ok. I changed the microfilter and the router to a D-Link DSL-3780. Nothing helped to improve the speed. I do not know much about these technologies. Please can you help me. Thanks

Your line is dropping more than we'd like to see:
If there's no noise on the phone line then we need to look in to this as a broadband fault, can you report this at https://faults.plus.net please
