In Chris Purvey's absence I just thought I'd come here and say that there's another batch of refunds going later today. Some accounts will need manual intervention so it may take some more time for the refunds to be processed for some customers.

I am very impressed that the promised weekly (Wednesday) update on this issue is being delivered consistently.  Guess I must be in the last batch... Surely I cannot have fallen through a crack?

Someone remind me again please why it is that a referral for home phone dosen't start to count until month 2? Yet we pay for LR from the start?

IIRC it's all a matter of billing dates for each of broadband, phone and referer.
Usually in the case of both broadband and phone migration, the broadband is done first and the phone some 10-14 days thereafter.  Broadband billing starts on day 1 and phone billing starts when the line is moved, pro-rata for the part period.  If the referer's billing date falls in between these dates then only the broadband service will be eligible for payment, the phone service token having not yet been activated.

I had them both put on at the same time with a fibre install and paid for them both on signup. So maybe I am missing a token?

I'll see if I can dig up some information on when this is due to go out as both people who dealt with this are currently on holiday.

I can't see why a refund if you pay by DD should take 7-10 working days. A bank transfer can be done immediately!!

I do feel that if the situation was the other way round and we owed PN money then a fix & payment would have happened much faster  Wink

Still not seen my back payment email.
Also now that CP3 have moved on, who has taken ownership of the other outstanding referral issues?  Does that person also know that there is a commitment to an update on this issue every Wednesday... Which is today?
