Moving to new premium

« on 07/11/2009, 11:33 »
Hi

I have been on Prem op 1 for quite a while now and it has served me well but I now need to look at another package which removes the download limit at peak times.  Will i notice much difference between the two as My son has X box live and is now starting to use the sky player on it as well.

Any ideas

Thanks

Craig, looks like you are in the same situation as me. See 'Where do I go from here' post.

Premium gives 80GB but quite a few things have very restricted speeds at peak times.

Wow Andy

Its just like looking in a mirror Cheesy.  I know what you mean re usage.  Since Sky player came out on X Box,  son no 1 used 2.5 gig in 3 days but said he new nothing about it.  Its stopped since we "had a chat" hahaha Hes 16.5 so a few grunts later and all was good   I dont know which way to go but my monthly usage remains below 30 gig at the mo but I only download after
12.00 am. Its the 8.00 am time scale i would miss but the extra usage would more than make up for that I think.  I also think that you can change back to your old package within a month if the new one is not working for you but im sure I will be corrected if im wrong  As long as online gaming is ok then I think that this might be the way to go.

Hi Craig,

If you move to the new product and it doesn't work out for you drop me a PM - as long as it's within the first month I'd be happy to move you back.

Hi orbrey

I  moved yesterday to the new premium package and it said it should change on my next billing date of 02/12/2009.  Will the month start from them and will I see much differance on X box live?

Hi Craig,

Yes, your month should start from then.

From my perspective, you shouldn't notice a massive difference on XBOX Live, although your downloads should be quicker.
