Two really lucky winners.  I hope that  the money has been won by syndicates so more people share in the money.  45M is too much for one person I feel.

Possibly unlucky winners, those that seem to win big fare worst.

I'm with jmpdlp on this Smiley

Wasn't me either. But what would you do with it if you had won it? be as frivilous or high minded as you like!!

I don't indulge either but if I did and had a big win I would carry on as normal.

It wouldn't change me one bit Roll Eyes

Well I do have a go at the UK lottery but not the Euro one.  If I won I would firstly return to America and fulfill a dream of mine to visit every State Smiley

Depending on the amount I would look after family and friends also.

If I won 45m (which I haven't, forgot to get tickets silly me) I'd give 5m to the RNLI and 5m to the local air ambulance service, I've never needed either service but they do a fantastic job, then I'd put aside another 5m which would be spent on local projects which require donations like the local library needing £20,000 for something, or a local church needing £50,000 for a new roof, projects which help the local community.  That'd leave me 30m.  I'd stick 29m into a nice high interest bank account using the remaining 1m to build a fantastic house for myself... within throwing distance of an exchange (8mb please!) then live off the annual interest, go abroad, learn about foreign cultures and things like that.  Of course I'd also use the money from the interest to make sure my family was secure too without any money worries.

Don't normally happen as there is a limit how much money you can give to people before tax has to be paid.

Well that's the frivilous settled then dgwebb, how about something high minded then! maybe a donation to one of our cash-strapped political parties....

But I agree about the RNLI and Air Ambulance.

Can`t remember exactly, but I did hear that if they just left the money to gather interest it would be about £5,000 A WEEK !... (I could live off that ! )   Cheesy

With that amount of money you could ditch ADSL for ever and buy a 100M direct link to the net !
