Trying to download God of War 3 demo.

I got a email from sony with a code for God of War 3 demo. I am trying to download it, but it is going way too slow. The demo is 2.6GB. It has been on download for a while now and still has not reached 1%. whats wrong?

I know about the traffic shaping, but surely 20mb after 15mins is too much.

Did you download finish overnight? Did things speed up a bit into the off peak hours?

As soon as it hit 12 it finished quite quick. The game is amazing btw.

This is making me want to move from unlimited to the premium package, an 80GB download limit doesn't seem so bad.

Just checked on Kitz, there's not much in it - certainly not enough to warrant moving across just on that basis.

You're right, I've just checked and theres no difference for dowload servers at all. For some reason I had it in my head they were double the speed but alas no, I'll stick to the devil I know.

Edit: Was looking at value.

Unlimited: 10-11 is 756Kbps compared to 1Mbps on premium
11-12 is 1Mbps compared to 2Mbps on premium
between 6 and 10 not much in it.
