Well....

Where to start really.. From first 'meeting' you back at the Plusnet LAN party, to the mod's meeting, and the days you've spent at both of my houses..  To the endless hours where I've bugged you late at night on MSN, (and vice versa!).  You've been a gentleman and a scholar.

You've prowled the forums at all times, looking to help those customers who have found the Community forums seeking assistance,  to the many phone calls that you have racked up in your time at Plusnet.

You will be sorely missed.  Plusnet are losing a valuable member of staff and an outstanding netizen.  Here's hoping that your new job gives you the fulfilment and development that you're looking for.

Oh, and I'm still at the end of an MSN for those long, late-night chats.  And I still pwn you at Guitar Hero..

All the best

B.

Good luck for the future James. You've always been a very welcome presence on these fora? (Forums?)

cheers

I think I speak on behalf of most customers, you will missed very much indeed. You brought a breath of fresh air to PluNet when it was badly needed and the help you have given to those with problems cannot be measured. PlusNet (and it's customers) are losing a very valuable asset.

I wish you the very best of luck in your new venture and thank you for all the help you have given to me and all the other customers. PlusNet will not be the same without you.

Good luck and all the best for the future in your new job. I'd also like to say many thanks for the help you've given me and all the other customers right back from the "old" Metronet to today.

November 12th will be my 2,140th and final day working for Plusnet.

... going?  really sad to hear that, James.  Only get to visit the forums and see your posts from time to time these days (the pace of life here continues at its usual unbelievable speed) but aware that team-Plusnet is losing one of its best fielders.  And a much-liked and respected individual.  With an always-evident sense of humour : D

You'll be very much missed - though I guess there's nothing stopping you from signing up again at some stage for PN broadband and posting from "this" side of the fence.  We may not have seen the last of you, I would hope Smiley

All good wishes for this "next step" in your career,

Best regards,

Penny.

Thank you all for your very kind words.

Penny, you manage a brief laugh out of me, given the weather here today that's quite an achievement Smiley

James is one of the most active and helpful people here! Just look at how many cries for help start with "James" so yes, PN are losing a precious commodity, and should offer you a pay rise of 5,000% to get you to stay Cheesy

Good luck in your future work, but remember to put paper into the shoes you leave behind to help whoever follows try to fill them Smiley

As an internet user I’ve always been very spoilt as I’ve only ever been with Metronet / Plusnet and therefore I’ve had access to brilliant customer support. The Service Desk guys are excellent as are your colleagues on the forums but James you really do have to take a massive amount of the credit for the extremely high regard and reputation Plusnet has gained as a result of exemplary customer service.

As a customer of course I’m sorry that you’re leaving but I do genuinely hope that you have great success in the next stage of your career and hope that it fulfils you in every way you wish it to. And, of course, very many thanks for all the help and advice you’ve given me over the years.
