Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me. I have just got a Dell Inspiron 910 mini and its currently running XP Home, I'm thinking about changing it to Linux but don't know anything at all about it, I know there are a few to choose from so im kind of hoping some of you out there might be able to help me on my way. I have no idea what information you need in order to help me out so i'll give you what i can think of and you can ask your questions

.
So, the laptop is a 1.6 Intel Atom with 1gb ram and an 8GB SSD (hence wanting to change the software), it has no cd drive and has built in webcam. I will be using it for windows live including the webcam and surfing the web so I will need to know about compatible antivirus, web browsers and also very importantly drivers and where to get them from. It is wireless and has built in bluetooth although the driver for that is not necessary. I might also play the odd hidden object game or card game on it too if it has the capabilities. It is mainly a leisure notebook, it won't do burning or downloading or anything like that.
Ive seen a lot about dual booting Linux, is that necessary? As you can imagine, with only having an 8GB hard drive thats not going to be easy, it only has the necessary programs on it at the moment and only has 1.7GB free as it is!!!
Thank you in advance guys, I know i'm at the right place for good advice
