Hiya,

As per my phone call, your email was sent with an incorrect value.

I'm very sorry for the unneeded distress this will have caused.

Hi Charley,

I wouldn't worry about that too much.  This is basically because we had to turn off call processing for an extended period of time meaning that some of your calls were billed in the correct month, and others in the subsequent month.

I will sleep better knowing that I don't owe Plusnet £587. Not a happy bunny though why do I seem to have the biggest owing amount, did I offend someone at Plusnet  ?  I doubt it as I have never even called the customer service centre before today. Mobile phone was switched off but could you please give me a call on landline ?

Thanks

Thanks as per the phone call, we'll not be billing you anything like that much.

And thank you for your kind compliment  Smiley

Last month I got an email saying I had been overcharged by £3.
Today I get one saying I am undercharged on calls by £78. (I've never made that amount of calls in a year)
I telephone and get a foreign voice saying its an error and ignore it.
Sorry PN, not good enough. It's alright saying ignore it, but if you make so big a mistake on an email, why should I trust you with a direct debit?
I would appreciate an email explaining just what is going on preferably within 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of my direct debit and a very fast switch over. I am on a one month deal so nothing to lose.

Thank you

@Charley

Your billing is correct, as is the email that you have received.

I have had a similar email this afternoon.     It's says the outstanding amount is 0.44p which is the correct amount that I owe for one chargeable  phone call this month.     Once again there is a mess up on my phone bill and I will be away on holiday when Plusnet take my Direct debit.     Is it possible for someone to check out my account before I leave on October 26th as I need to know how much Plusnet will be taking out of my account.

Much as I am a big supporter of Plusnet their accounts dept leaves a lot to be desired IMHO.

Whenever I come on this forum it seems there's really only ever Jameseh solving problems  Wink

What gets me is, if this is the result of a system error, there's going to be quite a few people pushed over the edge specially if they've experienced other problems too and why such random figures? From as little as a couple of pounds right up to nearly £600?? Im sooo glad it wasnt me who got that email, i'd have been closing down my bank account for fear of that never mind losing sleep.

Just to be clear (hi Kazbah!), anyone who received an erroneous email has *not* and will *not* be charged that amount.

The problem is merely that the incorrect value was entered onto the email - as trivial as it sounds, obviously caused a lot of distress, for which I am sincerely sorry for.

There's a big clue in my forum signature, but I'll leave it there as this thread is in danger of going off topic, then it's quite an important one in the first place.
