Morning guys,

Certainly very glad to see that some of you are seeing improved performance over the weekend.  For those of you still experiencing difficulties, please bear with with us whilst we get our network back in balance following the drops from last week and the addition of new capacity.

@Azagoth - Your slowdowns do not appear to be related to the issues being reported by others (for the last few weeks).

Getting 120kb/s on a Wubi download at the moment, which (assuming it is classified as p2p) is almost exactly as advertised for this time of day*. Much better than previous where I was getting around 12Kb/s

(*not worth bothering with - but as advertised  Grin )

You sure?  They started at the same time and have all the same symptoms?

We moved you onto Pro last week without telling you, hoping that you would notice an improvement if you were being affected by the current issues being reported.

Up until I was disconnected and then reconnected under the 'load balancing' tonight I was getting 5000+kbps.

Now:

Code:
Today 21:27    881 kbps (110kB/s)
Today 21:17    3235 kbps (404kB/s)
Today 15:18    5272 kbps (659kB/s)

Are your IP Profile and PN Current Line Speed up at their normal level?

Which gateway are you on? Have you tried swapping?

@reserved, interesting results in that thread. Whilst I doubt things will be completely rosy tonight the network is in *much* better balance this evening. We also set up some additional monitoring today that has potentially highlighted a problem with traffic between the gateways and the ellacoya traffic management switches (*not* the edge routers but the core routers on the network e.g. gi2-2-303.ptn-gw01.plus.net). We've not made any changes to address this yet but we've a number of things we'll be looking to do over the coming days.
