Any update?

Just wondered if anything’s moving on reducing the back-log of orders? I registered for the trial on 9/7 and had a standard reply from Dave Tomlinson dated 2/8 that said ‘…..we are aiming to place as many of the 200 orders as possible this month.’    I’ve heard nothing since and wondered how things are going and whether I can expect to be moved on to the trial soon?  Smiley

I also would be interested in an update. ...I raised a ticket on 30/06/09 #29242181 to go on the trial and have heard virtually nothing on the subject since! Shocked

Other than installing the latest version of firmware for my Netgear DG834G v3, which with the guidance of the very knowledgeable and helpful guys on these forums I’ve been able to do, is there anything else I need to do in preparation? Also, when will I know that I’ve been transferred?

We should let you know once the order has been completed.
I'd suggest a daily reboot for the first week or so, first thing in the morning, but that shouldn't be essential.

Got an update to my Trial Ticket today saying that my order is progressing looks like it should done for the 17th Sept.!!

Yep - Dave's done a few more.
We should have them all done by the end of the month.  We're doing them in little batches initially.  There's about 150-200 left.

Hoping you can help.
Just looked at My Questions in the Member Centre to fins a posting dated 2.45pm yesterday ID: 30010876 purporting to be from me saying ‘There was a problem with the DSL Order submitted to the supplier.
The supplier's system returned the following information:
Error Type: External
Response Code: 5002
Response Message: Service cannot be provisioned as service ready date 31-10-2009 is in future’
I have made no such posting. Can someone please investigate where this posting originated and what affect it may have on me going on to ADSL2+. I received a text message yesterday confirming that my order has been placed and will be completed 22/9.
Also, should have asked this before of course  :-[, will I still be on Value and pay the same monthly fee?

Hi Rob,
That was one of the order placed by our new provisioning tool.  Unfortunately, your order has not been accepted as it appears that your exchange has not been upgraded yet.
We will try again once it has been.

Are you sure?  In the thread below the advice was that the exchange is enabled. I don’t mind waiting and I’m certainly not going to moan if the advice isn’t accurate as it was given and taken in good faith. In reply no. 2 I quote the exchange status as ‘21CN WBC status Enabled as of 31/05/2009’
