Inbound calls diverted to voicemail

« on 17/06/2009, 11:26 »
Well I made a little more progress. Silly me - I was putting in the default PIN of the GAP phone and not the PIN which I set the base station up with.

I corrected this and thought it was OK. The GAP handset said HS-2 for a few moments. However, I have now lost dial tone on both handsets (note I'm only using this for VOIP so no fixed line attached) but also, when I ring the geographic number, my phone is tied up and I go straight to Plusnet's voicemail system.  don't know how to unengage the VOIP.

Please can someone help.

Just an additional note on to the above - strangely, I can dial out but not in.

Broadband Phone 120 2009-03-06 12:25:42 01752 ****** ******* (Ext) online until 2009-06-17 12:09:40

Where I have put asterisks, it shows my geographic number and my sip extension.

So that's looking OK.. if you de-register the new handset does the dial tone come back?

Hi again. No, I have deregistered the additional handset and still no joy. I have even set the original handset back to default settings but this has not helped.

It might not be you, I've just been told all my calls are diverting too.

Guys,

I've just done the equivalent of "refreshing" your VoIP service.

Can you try again in 45 minutes and see if your calls are going through?

@Annie,

If that doesnt work, I'd try a reset of the C475. You can do it from the web configurator or by powering off and on. It should retain all the settings ( including handset registrations ) across the reset.

Annie & Adie

I've just tried calling you both and get diverted straight to voicemail.

We're raising this to Gradwell now.
