Or a testimonial category with a simple tick box for Positive or negative.

Re: Discussion Thread for new Community Forum Structure

Reading the posts in Testimonials and Rants and Raves, I'm obviously not alone in being unclear as to what these sub-forum titles are supposed to mean.

Re: Discussion Thread for new Community Forum Structure

My vision for the Community site redesign sees rants, raves and testimonials being removed.  I don't like the names and I feel that they are often misued, or posts placed in the wrong areas.
I see all of the above being ideally placed within the relevant section in the forum category - a complaint about a fault can go into the Faults section, or something wanting to say how great their home phone service ahs been, can post in the home phone forum.
The fewer forums we have, the simpler it is for all.

If you can find a mod that does what you have in mind I'm sure PN would consider adding it.
Mods are here

Just had a quick look, and I reckon this should be added: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=1750

Re: Discussion Thread for new Community Forum Structure

Not for me thanks!
It gets the forum into the murky world of PayPal e-commerce.  I believe the MODS have enough work to do without adding potential PayPal disputes to the list Cheesy

Re: Discussion Thread for new Community Forum Structure

When I look at some of the mods that are listed there's one main question that springs to mind: Why?!!!

@MauriceC: I was only joking,  and I know what you mean, it would be a whole new ball game, especially stopping the system getting abused .
