Edge protection - question answered

« on 03/12/2008, 09:35 »
as a personal investigation re missed e-mails I have turned edge protection off, I do get a small number of obvious spam not marked, but looking at the headers they seem to go through Ironport, is this so., still nothing in my spam boxes though

Yes that has been through IronPort and was marked as Spam 1 (Header X-pn-pstn: Spam 1), i.e. definitely spam.

The subject line has not been tagged as [-SPAM-] nor (from your comment) has it been moved to the Spam Folder. Could you confirm that the spam setting for the domain this was sent to (see the Envelope-to: header near the top of the original message) has Add [-SPAM-] to the subject line (Recommended) and Move to the Spam Folder (Recommended) radio buttons selected?

Strange those two tick boxes were not as I had them before the migration, have now changed it back.  It could be that I had been through no spam filtering and then back to  filter and no edge
