The price of you connection these days is governed by the amount that you download, not the speed that you download it.

Not the whole story - some of us pay extra for a higher upload speed.

12/18 month broadband contracts have been abolished - all Plusnet residential contracts (including for existing users) are now 10 days (however deferred charges such as activation or hardware may have to be paid if you leave within a year)

Had a look at the list of exchanges ADSL2+ enabled in Sheffield and it seems it's either snobs or yobs Angry
I can't claim to fit in either group (neither hard nor rich) so I'm out in the cold Cry

Yeh the one at the back of The Moor. That's what we are on here at work. I would have thought that would have been priority Roll Eyes

I take it you're on about Cutler, which I think is on Fitzwilliam Street?  It's where I used to live...

But I believe it's due early next year.

Yep, round the back of anyway. Used to be free parking round there but not any more.
I'll keep my eyes open if we're still here Smiley

RFS date set : 31/03/2011 or 21CN PSTN switchover target:     Q3 2009.....

March 31st 2011 is the same as for my exchange, my exchange has the same date. Sad

Hopefully though, the pattern will be the same as for ADSL and this date may come in 6 to 12 months earlier if we are lucky like it did with ADSL.
