Sorry, yes I had seen the link in the post thank you! - but what I wanted to know is how did you find it without going to the Forum and finding that link?  There must be a more direct link?
In other words if you were just starting out with PN and wanted to know the meanings of word/initials/phrases etc - what do you do? where do you look?
Because you might not realise you have to go to a Forum to find the link, or you might not initially think of going to "Help and Support"............ because you would think that was to do with actual problems with broadband/internet ......................

Third paragraph.

That seems a very appropriate place.

Just noticed something: Help & Support in the footer of every page on the portal links to a different place to Help & Support in the ribbon at the top and the page you land on does not have a link to the glossary.

Just followed the link and had a (very brief) look through PlusNet's Glossary.

Quote
Community Site
A place where our customers can find expert help from staff and other customers, catch the latest announcements, read blogs from different departments here at PlusNet or chat to like-minded customers on the forums.

No links?  Esp from "Community Site" and "blogs" and, of course, "forums".

Yes I know there's a link up the top to the Comm Site thread :/  but the Internet's a "3D" type of thing, and if there's something a customer might be interested to take a look at, why not embolden / make a link out of, such words.

I just cannot fathom why the PlusNet Glossary should be primarily in 2D (unless I've missed something somewhere and in fact links will be along later).

It all seems a bit "minimalistic" right now but perhaps a wealth of links will remedy that.  No wish to offend anyone with the comments, just how it appears to me at first view.

Regards,

Penny.

I have to agree. I think it would be good to have the link in the 2nd tier of the menu bar on all pages as well as being included in the footer links.

Just quickly scanned the contents of the Glossary and wonder what an IP is? It is referred to several times, but I could not see an explanation.

If thar ever offered owt, tek it tha might not want it na but tha cud need it later.

I agree about the hyperlinks, I'll be looking to address this within the next week Smiley

As regards to finding the glossary, I'm hoping to have a few more obvious links to it present on the portal soon, I just need to get authorisation to do so first Smiley
Kind regards, Andrew Bunker

The glossary is now linked to on the portal footer and every support page that has a 'Search Help Pages' box.

[Moderator's note by Jonathan (chillypenguin):  Rules apply to the staff too.
