BT Vision

Hi,
In your past plans for 2007 I read with interest that you were to introduce BT vision amoungst other BT offerings now that you were owned by BT.  I am a new PN customer (used to be on force9 years back) so may have missed some announcement.

What has happened to this ?  I have looked but can not see anything about how I can also get BT vision from PN.  I am now interested as I have ceased to be a TopUP-TV customer since they kept switching off live channels in favour of downloading what they thought would interest you to a new HDD recorder.

So PN where is BT vision ?

As a happy RIN user what are the drawbacks

We have:

- No control over your connection (which makes it only appropriate for PAYG customers)
- Significantly reduced diagnostics if there is a problem
- Higher costs per customer (Although it's marginal for PAYG, it's not for other products)
- No ability to provide our prioritisation and no ability to deliver you extra services such as the security trial we intend to run later in the month.
- No ability to guarantee your usage data won't be used as it is for other BT network users, as per the thread about Phorm.

Does that answer your question?
Ian

Ian,
It does indeed - I can see me going back onto the normal platform the day before this happens - if not sooner

On the basis of the Phorm in a teacup, will PN be dropping a mail round to RIN users to warn them if and when the issue gets to the 'real soon now' timescale?
