I got mine back too! Yippeee!

Although I should point out, I only lost mine because I broke some stuff testing various bits when the site was in Beta - Colin has worked some of his miracles to rescue me.

Pints are on me when I next see you Colin (OK, you can have Irn Bru if you *must*) Grin

No, and I don't believe they claim that any more (false advertising and all that...).

I don't tend to drink Irn-Bru when out though...

I don't care what you say - the figures have got to be wrong:

Which parts are wrong?

EDIT:

I've moved the discussion about incorrect forum stats to the Community Site Bugs page for further discussion/investigation.

being an irregular visitor to the Community site, having seen the 27th Dec newsletter, it wetted my appetite, unfortunately you did not tell us,
A) about this blog so that we could post
B) the competition page linked to the news letter had no link to this,
C) could not find how to look at the results,
D) could not find the poll
E) it is now the 6th Jan and I found the pages that closed
1) on the 28th Dec
2) on the 2nd Jan

Please help new users a bit more. Cry

now that bitching gone how about my query

Hi pierre_pierre,

Apologies for the fact that you missed out on the photo competition.

The newsletter was due to send on the 21st December giving people plenty of time to vote. Unfortunately there was a fault with the send which meant only around half of recipients got the newsletter at this time.

The rest of the newsletters were sent on the 27th but obviously this meant that you didn't have much time to enter the competition.

When the newsletter was originally sent the poll had not been opened as the competition was still running, that's why it wasn't linked to.

Please accept my apologies for this, Looking back we should have amended the second version of the newsletter and removed the competition - this was discussed but we thought that some people may still have time to enter.
