As many of you will know, this Friday is Breast Cancer Care’s official ‘In the Pink’ day. Ideally the whole world will be wearing pink in order to raise awareness of breast cancer, and PlusNet are keen to join in.
As ever our good time gurus have ensured that there will be fun to be had. Those here will be able to enjoy such delights as a Pink Pub Quiz and a raffle, plus a competition to see who can wear the pinkest outfit. More importantly, however, we would like you - the Community - to join in and help us both raise awareness of breast cancer but also help us to raise some money for the breast cancer charity.

Here’s how it works.

For each photograph of a PlusNet customer (this of course includes customers of Force9, Free-Online and Metronet) that posts a picture of themselves on this thread dressed in pink we will donate £1 to the Breast Cancer Care charity, so get snapping!

This thread is for uploading your pictures to, have a look at the blog link below for more information.

My tshirt has pink stripes.  Mand has a pink t-shirt and Bob has a pink logo on his.

I think this shows our dedication.  It is bloody freezing and I don't have a jumper with anything pink on it.

Some of the Web Team are in Pink (and you might just be able to make it out on the Camera), some of Development are in Pink too, but the camera hasn't moved yet.

I'd like to point out that I wasn't actually swearing in my earlier post, but merely sanguinising.

If anyone can see on the webcams, I am the large bloke, with no hair and a pink hairband on, with antennae type things.

Only intermittantly though, the teeth on the thing are digging into my scalp!
