Speed Fluctuations

Hi, I'm a new customer to plusnet having switched from BT. I had infinity 1 with BT which have me a download speed of a solid 38mbps. Having switched to Plusnet I have found my speeds to be fluctuations massively especially at peak times  I have found this problem with both wired and wireless connection. Often during peak times I am finding my download speed of less than 1mbps. The other day I managed to have a ping of 1017ms. I am unsure as to why this is as my BT connection was solid at all hours if the day. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have just run a BT wholesale speedtest and got the following results
Download 4.67mbps
Upload 10.16mbps
Latency 29.00mbps
