The manual entering of username and password is best.

Remove the network cable connecting your router to your modem. Enter your pnet username and password into the login fields. Restart the router and reconnect the cable in the back again. Beyond that I'm sorry but I'm out of ideas other than what has already been suggested in this thread. My next recommendation is to shout at plusnet Sad

Re: fibre down

At a guess I'm going to say your username and password to log into your router.
However if it is after you've logged in using "Admin" and default password or whatever you set it to. Most likely your plusnet username and password then. Does it mention CHAP authentication protocol or something similar?
I'm referring to the username that may like ________@plusdsl.net whatever password you setup on your account.

Re: fibre down

Are you able to take a screenshot and upload the image somewhere?
If you have a smart phone you should be able to transfer the screenshot into it's photo library and from there upload it to a website like http://imgur.com/ make sure there is no personal details in the screenshot. Windows snipping tool is helpful for that.

Re: fibre down

Adam the login to the router interface is different from your broadband login if you are getting confused.
http://community.plus.net/library/broadband/manual-reconnect/ is a good guide.
If when you log in it shows Connected, then if you still have no Internet, click Disconnect and then turn the Router off again. leave it for 15 minutes or so before turning it on and then logging in to click Connect.
In the meantime you may as well phone CSC on 0800-4320200 from your landline, it's a free call. There's a very long queue at the moment.
There could be a stale session that needs killing.
After you've tried that reconnect, if you have still not got reconnected and you haven't set up any customised settings in your router, you may as well try a factory reset (loses any customisation).
Select Reset my Technicolor Gateway from the list (5.2).

Re: fibre down

Well Adam you can try the options in my previous post, if you really want to try it straight away go for the factory reset, but as I said get on the phone, be prepared for along queue, you may have a stale session that needs killing. If the factory reset works in the meantime you can always hang up on the phone.
