Re: ccgi space restored ?

Though your can't edit it you can probably rename it (to disable it) and even delete it. Then create your own.

But what's the point if every time we try to make a change to our site the tide comes in and out and washes the beach clean?

Re: ccgi space restored ?

Afternoon,
Firstly, please accept my sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that's been caused as a result of these unexpected changes.
We're currently trying to work out what has happened and I'll report back as soon as I know more. I have already picked up multiple support tickets about the problem and escalated them as necessary . I'll make sure those of you that have contributed to this thread are included if you haven't already been in touch via other means.
If it can be avoided then I'd suggest against making further changes to your sites in the mean time.
Sorry Sad

Hierarchy's changed. Don't know about you, but I've been shunted into /services9

Just to be clear, this is being looked into too. It's also happened to my account. Interestingly, the path change isn't reflected in the the environment tab of the Disk Manager application.

Re: ccgi space restored ?

We're continuing to investigate these problems however it's an unusual one. There were some preparatory scripts run on Friday to prepare the next batch of accounts for migration, however we've pretty much established that the scripts aren't directly related to the rewinding of live customers' content.
The Migration Team  will be continuing to work on this problem throughout this evening with a view to restoring customer's sites at the earliest available opportunity. We've not been able to do this yet due to not fully understanding what's led to the problem in the first place.
Appreciate peoples' patience and sorry again that this has happened.
Expect an update from me tomorrow morning, if not later tonight...

Re: ccgi space restored ?

OK, update slightly sooner than anticipated...
A restore has been attempted on the accounts belonging to those that have reported problems in this thread.
Can people please check again and let me know what their findings are?

Re: ccgi space restored ?

Smiley I seem to be back too - mysql data seems ok .. haven't checked right through site but looks to be restored as was.
I hope this means the culprit was identified and future repeat avoided .. Undecided

Re: ccgi space restored ?

My site looks OK again too.  The zenphoto gallery certainly has the right number of pictures in it.  I've not stepped though all of them yet but those I have looked at are not corrupted.  The couple of supporting pages look OK too.
Will we ever get a full story of what went wrong?

Re: ccgi space restored ?

My file and database content are back to pre-fiasco state. The unwanted root /.htaccess and /public/CGI-BIN have disappeared to whence they came. Smiley
