Trying to find the phone plan options

There are a load of links which don't work
Starting here http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/package-guides/phone the links all take you to here http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/
The only way to get to the various call plans appears to be via the legal bit which takes you to http://www.plus.net/support/phone/home-phone-faq.shtml?source=legals
Surely there must be a better way of finding out the costs of the various phone packages

Re: Trying to find the phone plan options

The main reason is because we don't sell just phone, and listing the products on their own would give an incorrect impression there. Are the listings in the 'show details' bit under each product not comprehensive enough?

Re: Trying to find the phone plan options

They are if you are just looking at the standard ones - but how can I find the options with LRS
Why isn't this FAQ  http://www.plus.net/home-broadband/faqs/broadband-and-phone/ the same as this FAQ http://www.plus.net/support/phone/home-phone-faq.shtml?source=legals

Re: Trying to find the phone plan options

Matt - I am currently looking into the possibility of adding HomePhone to my Plusnet broadband, but there is a whole lot of conflicting information.  On this page - http://www.plus.net/addphone/ - it clearly suggests that I can switch straight into an LRS deal, but one of your colleagues told me 2 days ago that I would have to pay the first month at full price before going onto LRS.

Re: Trying to find the phone plan options

I think that both answers could be correct in their own way. Since phone activation can take place on a different date from the broadband billing date a pro-rata payment will apply for the first month (to align broadband and phone billing dates). If LRS starts on phone activation date the first 'month' will then be a part month. I think Plusnet's systems now refund the inapplicable pro-rata part of that first month. That means that technically the first '12 months' is actually '11 and a bit' months (but charged pro-rata). However if what the agent said is followed the first '12 months' actually covers 12 months.
Perhaps the answer is to follow whichever option best suits the user?
