Re: SNR Reset

Download speedachieved during the test was - 3.38 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.6 Mbps-7.15 Mbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :4.7 Mbps(DOWN-STREAM), 0.45 Mbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 3.5 Mbps
The line speed showing on PN is at 4.5Mbps
I will post the results again at 10ish tonight.
Cheers

Re: SNR Reset

Don't forget the full modem/router stats tonight mind  Wink
Your profile at this sync speed should be 4Mbps, but as this is 20CN it will take DLM around 4 days from whenever you synced at 4544 or higher.

Re: SNR Reset

Well no outrageous error figures there, and the SNRM doesn't seem to be dropping much now it's dark. If the stability continues and the error levels remain low, I'd think going for an SNR reset, say Friday morning would seem like a good idea.
Those attenuation figures still bug me a bit though.

Re: SNR Reset

Agreed, the errors according to diagnostics are even lower and the connection has been up for over 28 hours so I've just submitted an SNR reset.

Re: SNR Reset

It certainly hasn't budged, but at least the errors are still looking reasonable. So it looks like the SNR Reset has failed, they do sometimes, so unless a kind member of Plusnet staff looks in over the weekend, DCT will try again on Monday I guess.

Hi grahamholmes,
Sorry it didn't take effect - I've just placed another one for you, please let us know if you notice any difference - should be happening early this afternoon or so.

Re: SNR Reset

Hi, the SNR resets never worked so I decided to leave it for a few weeks now the SN margin has gone back down to around 6db download but the upload is still at 21bd which I don't care too much about.
The sync speed is now at 5300kbps for over a week but the download speed is 3700kbps is there any chance someone could give it a nudge please?
Thanks

Graham

Re: SNR Reset

Do you mean your Current Line speed (Login required)? What is it at present?
The Upstream SNRM is fine, that's precisely the sort of value one would expect on 20CN 448kbps US sync speed.
