Welcome to the Community!

July 27th, 2007 at 07:00 by Chris Parr

The Community site is now LIVE!

Finally we’ve cast off the ‘beta’ tag and customers of PlusNet, Force9, Free-Online and Metronet can register for their community site access. Customers who registered during the beta phase should have been emailed to ensure that those early contributions were not lost.

We’ve produced a detailed FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) which explains why the community site has been launched, what’s in it for our customers, and what further developments we are planning for the community site.

To mark the occasion we have a forum photo competition (rules apply), with a fantastic digital camera to be won for 1st prize. We’re also planning a community site launch party once the holiday season is over and everyone has a little more spare time. We will have more details about this shortly.

We’d like to welcome everyone to the community site proper. We are really looking forward to developing the site in conjunction with all of our customers who make up this very special community.

Fighting the Spammers

July 19th, 2007 at 18:42 by Ian Wild

The battle against spam remains at the top of our priority list. Alongside the measures we are taking, customers can also take steps to reduce the amount of spam in their mailboxes.

As well as turning on the spam checking tool we provide with every account, we have provided a number of new options which, if applied with care, can dramatically reduce the amount of spam received. We are currently producing a video tutorial which will offer more guidance, but in the meantime customers might find the Blog article on Using the Manage My Mail tool helpful.

June 22nd, 2007 at 15:15 by Liam

A new format presentation this month, just for a change! This month I’ve pulled a number of statistics from different areas.

Most importantly, and as previously published, are our Customer Feedback Survey results. Specifically the “Overall Satisfaction”, which this month showed that 63.3% of customers surveyed responded with “Very” or “Extremely Satisfied”. This shows an ongoing upward trend.
