This week we headed to the historic city of York to celebrate our title sponsorship of a brand new running event, The Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon.
The event will be hosted in York on 20th October this year and has already seen runners signing up from as far afield as France, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand and the Bahamas!

Meanwhile, check out Plusnet’s very own Laura Mottram and Jane Palmer pictured with ex-Leeds United legend, Danny Mills, at the launch event at Clifford’s Tower this week. Danny happened to mention that he’s a very happy Plusnet Unlimited Fibre Broadband customer!

If you had been running the marathon around Sheffield then that would have been a real challenge!! 
Seriously though, well done Plusnet. Hope lots of you youngsters get plenty of exercise!!
An overwhelming response to this new event, well done to all involved! Since this blog post, marathon organisers have confirmed the event is now full.
