It does quite a lot for us. I've seen numerous examples of customers being retained or new custom being acquired simply by responding to queries about Plusnet on Twitter.

Well, to be fair, you don't need to sign up to Twitter to read tweets (unless the account holder has their tweets 'protected'). And, indeed, anyone can use RSS to follow someone's tweets too.

as per The 10th... am too busy actually talking to people. also, has the beeb got shares in the twit web-site.. all seem to hear is "you can see us on twit".. no I'm not 'cos I'll be b*g*ered if I'm going to sign up for another thing!

I'm with The10th - can't fathom out why folk always have to be 'in touch'. I'm afraid it would be too taxing for my simple brain (or perhaps I too am just anti-social).
