Today brings us a better EOD turn out than I expected after such a great number of posts yesterday! Enjoy:

James from Comms

The CSC have been bizarrely noisy today, which could mean one of two things. 1) They’ve been really busy or 2) My hearing has come back. Realistically it’s probably both!

I’ve been doing a mix of project work, forum work, forum PMs and meetings today. Bob’s been working on all things email. Chris has been playing around with ServiceStatus and Mand’s been looking at problems and some projecty stuff too.

Matt’s skiving. Again.

Don’t forget today’s Commic!

Next Up, a brief glimpse into the working life of Amy from Marketing

Today I’ve been looking at what adverts our competitors have in the newspapers and sharing them with our agents so they are better informed when customers call.

Oh, and also sniggering at the Dear Deirdre section in The Sun, not Plusnet’s newspaper of choice.

Last update of the day comes from Adam in the Customer Options Team

It’s been another busy day down here in Customer Options. We have been working hard to keep down the call wait times and keep hold of the great customer experience!

We are still being managed by our stand in Mr. Keys who is not that dissimilar from Mr. Motivator in a bad mood (minus the Lycra…Thank god there’s no Lycra!) All credit to him though, he gets the job done and we are seeing the team looking a little more healthy after our third round set of crunches!

We are all looking forward to a nice night out at the end of the week in reward for hitting our targets a few months back. We seem to have opted for a meal at a local Tapas bar this time around and I must admit, we are all looking forward to seeing what’s on offer. No doubt the menu will contain a fair share of alcohol and many a sore head come Saturday morning.

I’m reserving the right to hate Tapas as my mind is drawn to an observation made by Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer a few years back, unfortunately they described it as looking like “Something you would find in an old shoe” lets hope that’s not the case…Or there is a KFC close by!

I’m sure that some member of the team will be able to provide an update on the evenings happenings come Monday.

Right, that’s your lot and it’s nearly time for my weekly climbing lesson! See you all later!
