Well, what an exciting day it’s been here at Plusnet towers. Commencing just after midnight (as day’s usually do) when two of our developers (and someone from QA) arrived to start the rollout of the biggest product refresh this year. OK, I know there’s only been 47 days or so, but still, indulge me… If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then perhaps you should check the front page of the website.
It seems to have gone relatively smoothly in terms of projects of this size and scope, so we’ll be keeping an eye on them for the next few days.
There’s been a few niggly issues with it which has been keeping the development, web development and marketing teams busy today making the tweaks to resolve the issues – although the rest of the business did join us for a get together to have a nice bun.

Phil from Business Support gives us this update:
Hello all from Business Support.
Whilst the rest of the CSC have been put to task answering all your lovely questions, the Business guys have seen business as usual, though pitching in when we can.
Faults and tickets seem to have been the theme of the day, though Monday is long gone and always seems the long day of the week.
Today Oliver has been handling our cancellations, Chris has been fielding calls and generally causing mischief, John has also been on the calls and handling tickets, Martin has been dealing mainly with fault reports, Mick has been the provisioning queries, I have seem handling our partner support and fault requests and Gordon is dealing with all the partner orders.
After a successful launch of the new residential products, here is to the next product launch.
Right, I’m off to watch Sheffield Wednesday play Barnsley, a game I had hoped to attend a fortnight ago but tonight will have to do instead…

"After a successful launch of the new residential products, here is to the next product launch."
Surely you can't be referring to the long, long, long (repeat 'til blue) awaited Business Products Refresh which was heralded in February, April, August, September, October and November 2008?
According to your website, one of the reasons why Plusnet will be "perfect for your business" is
"You'll be one of the first to enjoy the latest innovations as we continue to develop new
products and services."
I think that needs a rewrite, don't you?
Here at Plusnet we're always trying to use clever open source things to make our lives easier. Sometimes we write our own and make other people's lives easier too!
