Hmm, it’s the start of another week, and I think we’re in for some more snow according to the weather forceast. I hope not, as the snow is starting to get annoying
First up, we have John from Business Support:
Hi all.. John from business support reporting..
After the Snow is now finally melting we have the team back in full force catching up with our work after being a touched understaffed some days last week..Me, Adam and Mick have been keeping on top of general customer support and provisioning tickets. Martin and Ollie have been tackling our faults both new and ones logged with BT. Phil has been getting ‘Hot and sweaty’ (his words) helping out one of our partners setup some new kit using our trail sharedband system. Mark spent a while trying to setup a router do something that it can’t do. Carl has been keeping on top of our partner orders. Sam has been coughing lots while working with Dan to keep on top of Internet Teleworker. Gordon is missing so I don’t know what he’s do is doing.
Toodles
Next up, we have Mand from Comms:
It’s been pretty quiet around the Comms desk today, which I’m going to attribute to a general Mondayness and a lack of Cparr and his random noises (he’s been working from home today).
So what have we been doing?
We ate lollipops, drank tea, and mocked Chris for not daring to venture out in the snowy and icy weather.
Speaking of Chris, he spent the day working on our Customer Satisfaction survey and some internal reporting stuff, as well as making the odd forum post.
Bob was doing project work, service statuses and attending meetings (we know how much he enjoys that). He’s on call this week too, so extra bonus work for him.
Matt went to some meetings (I managed to offload one or two onto him too, yay), continued working on the newsletter, and has been supporting our CSC colleagues with a variety of issues.
James whined a lot, and tried to imply that me being confused with him was a compliment to me! Not likely Mr Bailey

He also says he did ‘work’. Take from that what you will.
I worked on problems, some documentation, updating our CSC teams, and attending a few routine meetings.
Ah yes, a random link. Not so random, but has been the talk of the weekend (from the blue half of Sheffield anyway
)
The Web Team have been busy on project work, while I’ve spent some time helping a colleage in Networks get the Usertools site back up and running and also debugging and interesting problem with one of our applications for Duffy so he can make some cosmetic changes to it.
That’s all for now!
Colin
