For the second time in less than a week, we’re pleased to announce that have activated another 155Mbps segment of central bandwidth. This segment is part of a brand new 622Mbps central pipe we’ve had installed (imaginatively titled ‘Plusnet 10′). Customers connecting to the new pipe will access the Internet through a new gateway known as pcl-ag03.
We’ve activated this extra capacity in line with the current budget and our projected growth in customer numbers.
When new capacity is added to the network, it takes time for the network to balance and for a representative proportion of the customer base to connect to the new segment. In order to speed up this process and help balance the platform to give the most benefit to customers, it may be necessary for us to temporarily disconnect a number of customers from the network. Should we take the decision to do this we will announce further details as a planned maintenance notice otherwise it may take up to a week for the new segment to be balanced.
We frequently review our plans for the purchase of additional capacity and will continue to do this based on projected customer numbers.
Kind Regards,
Bob Pullen

Is Madasafish network supporting "Multicast"? Every time I try one of the test sites on the web, Media Player and Real Player come back with "network or firewall problem". Maybe my exchange does not have the ADSL2+ kit yet.
I notice that PCL-AG03 is not shown on the gateway perfomance page (http://www.plus.net/support/network_performance/broadband_packets_drop.shtml)
Is this an oversight?
Hi Edward.
The graph is there now, I was publishing it at around the time you commented on here
We wanted to publish the graph earlier but it got held up due to problems with our internal platform last week: http://usertools.plus.net/status/archive/1233150034.htm
Sorry for the delay!
Had a dial up plusnet and recomended to others. Went to ic24 for some reason. Now all Mad... and ic24 web sites dropped with no explanation and no sense from Madasafish. You seem to be a real person so should I switch to cheaper, better Plusnet or will I still be Madasafished? Andrew
@Andrew if you want to PM your username to me via the forums I'd be happy to look into your Madasafsh/IC24 issues for you. If you're thinking about moving to Plusnet, taking a look at our product support pages might help you decide which would suit:
