Welcome to 2009, apparantly 2009 is the year of astronomy and the International Year of Natural Fibres. There’s plenty going on this year even if there isn’t a World Cup or Olympics.
But what have we got going here at Plusnet towers on this the first day back for a large number of people after the holidays? Well we’re not entirely sure what everyone’s been doing as the End of Day kind of got a little bit forgotten until after most people’s End of Day and they went home.
So we’ve got a Products End of Day to start with:
The whole of the Products Team are back in the office and we’ve been very very busy this Monday. Catching up with emails, alerts, tasks and forum posts from the past few days and the general happenings. Luke’s been working on regulatory stuff and the latest set of BT briefings and what we need to do on the back of any changes. Rich has been working with our CPE suppliers. While I’ve been working on December’s usage data, WLR call processing and various random reports.
Tomorrow we need to find a volunteer to take the Christmas decorations down, don’t want any bad luck on floor 2, it’s bad enough that the heating seems to be almost permanently set to cold. Still the days do seem to go by pretty fast.
Second for today is Nick from our Business Development Team:
We’ve been continuing to work on our forthcoming Business Product Refresh, more details on this soon, as well working with our partners and planning forecasts for 2009 as well as it being the time to produce the end of month reports.
Lastly is Kelly from Web Dev with a quick update:
Web Development have continued to work on business refresh along with getting used to being downstairs. (Ed: They’re still missing us as most of them have been up to the 2nd floor at some point during the day.)
And that’s all we have for the first end of day of 2009 unfortunately. I could finish this off by talking about the snow, but instead leave you with this prediction, Everton play Liverpool twice this month, that’s two easy wins for EFC…
