The only solution is more energy efficient cars, and less car use - hence better public transport. But since, in my area, it costs me more to buy a ticket on First bus than to drive into the city and park for 5 hours, it's unlikely to happen.

If I say, "I've lost my phone" or "I'm getting a new phone" do you picture a mobile phone or a landline phone? Right, so the word "phone" has already become synonymous with "mobile phone". Now consider these statements: "I'll check the football scores on my phone", "I've got the photos on my phone", "My phone battery was low so I couldn't listen to music". To me, there is no apparent contradiction in using a phone for more than talking. When you picture a phone you may be picturing a multi-function wirelessly networked computer but you still call it a phone. I don't think that's about to change.

i understand microsoft and sony trying to get a slice of that money but hope they stick with the hard core gamers and not end up turning them selfs in to a NES colone. yes NES the only Nintendo i owened.

Oooh, I'm not sure I agree with you on that one, especially considering my Mother now has a Wii and loves it. The Wii is expanding the Games Console market in a way the XBOX and PS3 just isn't!
