Lets hope this announcement for on demand TV over broadband brings "BT Vision" and "Home Hub" nearer to the top of PlusNet priorities during 2009? It's been lingering in your plans since BT Retail invested in PN back in 2007.

The BBC also announced this week that they are looking at allowing other tv companies, like itv and channel 4, to use the bbc iplayer. Coincidentally, itv also annoucned that they were branding their catch-up system as "ITV iPlayer".

This sounds like Project Kangaroo with a branding tweak. Maybe there where sick of all the 'bouncing' headlines.Project Canvas is described as waiting for BBC Trust and public consultation, while Kangaroo was looking to be falling foul of the Competitions Commission who think it will stifle competition.
