I read the toast today, oh boy

September 22nd, 2008 at 11:17 by Tamlyn Rhodes

South Korean designer Sung Bae Chang has created the world’s first internet-enabled toaster. It is able to toast any pattern, image or text onto a slice of bread allowing its owner to, for example, catch up with the latest news or the day’s weather forecast while eating breakfast!

It’s just a concept product at this stage and there’s no indication of when, if ever, it will be put into production however if you find your toast a little boring you could always get yourself a pirate toaster.
