Pete is real, the rest of us are actually androids...

:)

thecowenfamily

You do know it's going to crash :0 ;)

thecowenfamily

:)

Get it up on Youtube so we can see it in all it's uninterrupted glory.

bobpullen

lol, absolute quality! :D

thecowenfamily

Brilliant guys....well done :)

Ben

That was fun! we need to do that more... ! :-D

Be3G

lol, good job everyone. Though I don't remember anything about baked beans from Comms EODs... just let slip something you shouldn't have, Matt? :P

Be3G

Oh, and where was BOLOR?

Colin

Ben's right... that was quite good fun :)

orbrey

Hmm.... BOLOR is more a usertools IRC thing, never really made it big on the forums or EOD. Maybe it's time for a return. As for beans, beans are the next big thing. Invest in heinz, just a word to the wise. However before doing so note that I am not in any way a financial advisor.

Great fun! Happy Anniversary Plusnet! What/who on earth is the cool character at the end? Has Plusnet got a club mascot now?! :-)

P.S. Any chance of louder sound? I'd love to hear from the luscious ladies from marketing and CSC ;-)

P.P.S. And I've been Rick-Rolled again :-(

Kelly

> snozboz

I'll tell Phil from Marketing that you like him :)

Chris

>P.P.S. And I've been Rick-Rolled again :-(

Very good - not exactly the feedback I had in mind :0

Great idea guys, and everyone reading - do you want more of these?

Sorry - I could not hear you at all well - can we have subtitles please?
However, my dog heard you and could not understand where the voices were coming from!

Oh, and as Jameseh will confirm - that dog, Holly, became mine thanks to the Plusnet Community Chit Chat Forum!

bobpullen

The mascot was Lionel the Fish (also known as 'Red Dude') from Madasafish (who some of you will know are also part of us).

There's a photo of the outfit on our Flickr photostream here:

Be3G

Phil - definitely. Minus the rick-rolling.

Moggy

Very Good, well done, sound quality not so great but don't let that deter you.

poppy

It was good to see you all again on the film and evidently enjoying yourselves.
Could someone (if they have time) run off a script as it wasn't possible to hear all the dialogue due to sound problems? Please do it again sometime and let's have both of our James from the forum on.
Happy anniversary and well done.

s_d_c

An external microphone would make this fantastic, rather than quite good!

Happy anniversary guys!

chino

NO!!!!!!

http://snipurl.com/commsrandomlink = Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up (youtube)

Nice.. never seen Lionel the Fish before

Ianwild

Yep - Getting Rick Rolled is never pleasant.

James

Poppy - James_H is a moderator and one of our customers :)

I'll be more than happy to take part in any further video end of days :)

neil

Really good stuff guys - Fantastic effort.
Now that really is PlusNet taking transparency in our business to a new level!
Neil

Assos

Definitely do some more, although if it were to become a regular thing (which would be brilliant!) I think it could do with a tiny bit more polish (shaky video is never good! :P )

Also a challenge for you - do one without looking down at pieces of paper every few seconds!!!

Oh, and no rick rolling in future OK? Matt!

But yeh, very good for a first shot :D

Chris

Oh, and no rick rolling in future OK? Matt!

Booo :)

Maybe Comms ninja will make an appearance next time?

phil

@Assos Cheers for the feedback. Yep, a little more practice and a little more equipment would make a world of difference. We wouldn't want them to look *too* slick though :)

Kelly

We shouldn't make such things need too much organisation. That was done with 20 mins (if that!) of planning, Qik and my Nokia N95...

Too much planning would make it stilted!

s_d_c

@Kelly - can see why you don't want to make them appear too planned, but at the moment, the middle section was very difficult to hear, and made me want to skip towards the end, if not close it down altogether! A slight change of equipment would make the world of difference.

petejackson

Pieces of paper we'll have to live with I'm afraid. Everyone is waaay too busy to spend an afternoon rehearsing and 'learning their lines' - as much as they'd like to. Remember we've pulled them away from their daily duties for 15 mins only. This really is an insight into Plusnet as live as you're likely to see it in such a format.

Sal

Agree with pete really, people learning their lines would make it look over rehearsed. This way you get to see Plusnet just as we are, a really good insight. I'm sure we'll be able to better the sound quality for the next time round!
Oh and thanks snozboz! :-)
