We’re delighted to say that Mike and Becca Tomlinson reached Lands End yesterday at the end of their gruelling End to End cycle ride in aid of Jane’s Appeal.
It was a tough and emotional ride for Mike from Newquay to Lands End for the finish and you can read about it on the BBC News. You can read all of the daily updates in the special category of the PlusNet community site.
Mr Tomlinson said it had been an emotional journey for many reasons: “I don’t think the point of the journey was to arrive.
“The point was to, I don’t know, it was a long road for different reasons and not just a cycle ride.
“There’s no sense of relief, it’s not been particularly gruelling.
“It’s almost like I’ve closed a door, if that makes sense.”
I’d like to wish our congratulations to Mike and the team for the effort and money raised from all at PlusNet.
