Monday’s come around again… why does the weekend always seem to go much quicker than during the week? Ah well, time to settle down for a night watching television… but first, on with the updates from the business.
Three deparmental contributions today… first up we have Cameron from Development:
Cameron from development here.
At the moment I’m documenting some systems that we don’t have general knowledge for in our department. Over the last year or so our development documentation has got a lot better and more thorough meaning we can point people in its direction rather than having to find out which developer knows about which bit of the system and bugging them.
Otherwise in the department we have people working on resolving issues with live systems, project work and general improvements to our codebase/processes.
And thats pretty much it from me, bye!
Next up, we have Chris from Marketing:
Spencer returned from his holiday over the weekend and was back in the office today. Unfortunately he was empty handed and the Pez that we expected to see failed to materialise. Amy and Gavin are off today so we’ve not had a full compliment – but the rest of us have carried on regardless. Martyn has been training people for most of the day, while Spencer and Brian have continued with the new sales pages. I’ve been rewriting some emails and playing with spreadsheets yet again. We’re all looking forward to the good weather continuing, and hoping that Spencer was only playing and he’s gonna bring in loads of sweets tomorrow. I doubt it.
Bedders from Networks brings us the following:
