It is more of a case of where have PlusNet popped up with their wellies and raincoats on this week, this is not the sort of July weather we all had in mind- should have known better!

Firstly, PlusNet are now set up on the Sixty plus surfers website, to do a monthly IT clinic where visitors will write in with their general computer problems and PlusNet will answer them. This is great for us as it means we get to offer our technical expertise and advice to a broader range of customers. Check it out here

Steve Golds from Security Pro Portal dropped by at the PlusNet towers this week to have a chat with Neil Armstrong about the iPlayer and how we manage our traffic at peak times. He has blogged his findings here. The stories around this recently demonstrate how difficult ISPs are finding it to cope with the volume of users wanting to watch programmes online.

Finally, Money Saving Expert linked PlusNet from the email as being the cheapest broadband provider- great news for us! Have a look at the article here.
