Hmm, the last of my 4 day weeks started today, and I’ve ended up with the job of editing the End of Day again. Thankfully, it should be the last time this week (he says, jinxing it!) though!

First up today, we have Josh from Networks:

Up in networks today we have been mostly dying in the tropical heat as the air conditioning tries in vain to work out what it’s doing - its 29 degrees at my desk, so it ain’t doing a very good job! At least with a raft of tea I have managed to stay awake.

In between that I have been doing some work on our internal reporting mechanisms are preparing to do some training later in the week.

The rest of the department has been up to usual, keeping on top or tickets, problems, monitoring and projects.

Next up, it’s Chris from Comms:

Today in Comms we’ve been discussing Bob’s pink jeep, eating various fried meats in sandwiches and drinking coffee from a well known high-street shop. Other than that we’ve been doing much the same things as normal, change controls, problems, forums and general queries.

Of course we also had the usual arguments about who was going to make tea today, ended up being me as I was thirsty and Bob was dreaming about his pink jeep. He was even drinking pink tea.
