End of Day: 10th June

June 10th, 2008 at 17:50 by Colin Ogilvie

It seems to have brightened up outside today, which matches the brighter and cheerier atmosphere in the office… or at least the Web Development department has brightened up anyway.

I’m hoping this isn’t the whole of the summer and that we might get some warm weekends where I can enjoy it, and the Air Conditioning will behave.

Spence from Marketing brings us:

Just a quick one from Marketing today. Myself and Martyn have been working on concepts for a Direct Mail campaign most of the day. Whilst Phil, Amy and Chris have all had their heads stuck in spreadsheets checking all our KPIs. Nick, as ever has been mostly in meetings planning future projects/offers.

Have a good evening all…
Spence.

Next up is Chris from Comms:

Today comms have been up to their necks tidying up our problem pool. We’ve also been writing some documentation to improve our processes and attending numerous meetings.

The Web Development team have also been having a productive day with Rupert having rolled out an enhancement to Broadband Your Way, where you will now get notified when you are approaching your usage limit. Colin’s been preparing a schedule for editing the EOD while he takes a well earned break. The projects team have continued with their bug fixing, while the internal support team have been busy working on some web pages and support updates. James has also been turning his hand to more Javascript.

That’s it for today,

Colin

Erm Colin, it was belting yesterday. Easily the hottest day this year. So how has it brightened up today? :P

Perhaps Colin has forgotten to put his sun glasses on...........

When I left the house yesterday morning, it was cloudy grey skies... when I looked out the Window when writing the EOD, it was a lovely blue sky.

Maybe brightened wasn't the term I actually wanted to use.
