End of Day: 27th May

May 27th, 2008 at 18:08 by Colin Ogilvie

The Tuesday after a Bank Holiday Monday always seems strange, as you’re never quite sure what day of the week it is, and we then spend the time trying to catch up on two day’s worth of work.

We start with the Networks & DBA team:

Following the P1 Problem on the Portals yesterday, the Network Teams have been following up the work yesterday with a wash-up meeting and detailing any lessons learned. As well as that, the usual batch of tickets have been answered, and the platform has been monitored and maintained in the usual fashion.

Many of Development and Web Development teams have continued working on fixing bugs, while other work continues. Tam has been spending his time working on My Account and looking to see what facilities are available through this, while Rupert has been looking at adding Tracking code to some websites, as well as trying to get James to do his work for him. Colin has spent the time trying to work through various things, and roll some problems out.

Apologies it’s a short EOD today, hopefully we’ll be back to full speed by tomorrow!
