MSI Atom-powered Asus EEE killer?

PC Pro have lifted the lid on what looks to be a gadget fans delight.. an even better looking tiny (and cheap) laptop than the Asus EEE that has held us in thrall over the past six months or so.

Based on Intel’s new Atom processor, the as-yet-unnamed MSI laptop is expected to retail around £185 with a 10″ screen, 1GB RAM and a 4GB solid-state flash hard disk. The report, from the Intel Developer Forum in Shanghai, suggests the machine will be shipped with Windows XP.

i'll decide after i've seen the decided spec, a pic and know the weight.

windows will come straight off and PCLinuxOS go straight on. more bang for the byte!
