This morning Epitiro announced the results of their technical performance review and revealed the top five consumer ADSL broadband providers in the UK.
I’m delighted to tell you that PlusNet have been ranked 2nd place!
Epitiro test a number of areas including download and upload speeds, ping and DNS performance and reliability.
We’ve progressed up the table over the course of the last year after missing out on the top 5 in Q1 2007 and finishing 5th in Q2. You guys have been telling us that we’ve been improving over the course of the last year as our customer satisfaction scores have continued to increase, and it’s great to see Epitiro recognising our technical performance.

Although good overall, not quite so good if you look at individual metrics. Top 5 for HTTP, DNS lookup and packet loss. Outside the top 5 for Webspace FTP up, Webspace FTP down and ping time. Keep going and maybe next quarter ...
