I didn't think the new WebKit build was making its way in to the new Mac OS 10.5.2 update, but I've just installed the said update, and Safari definitely seems snappier to me, although I wouldn't say it's to such an extent as the article makes out... although that could just be my broadband being a bit sluggish. Still, either way, any speed improvement is nothing to be sniffed at. Hmm... Give me AdBlock+ and it might pique my interest - even so, more and more of my time is spent on Linux boxes, so until Safari makes the leap where IE fears to tread it will remain a novelty on my Windows box at work. (One where it's incredibly easy to find where files are streaming from - thanks for that, Apple!) Whilst there's no addons, there's no attraction for me.
