		<description>I'm quite partial to Berlioz's &lt;i&gt;The Shepherd's Farewell&lt;/i&gt; from &lt;i&gt;L'enfance du Christ&lt;/i&gt; - it's an oratorio, so not a carol or anything as such, but it is very nice. Because it's not a carol though you don't hear it much - indeed, I was only first exposed to it when singing some Christmas songs in a choir with my school three years ago. (We even did some singing in Trafalgar Square under the big tree there... which was fun but very cold!)

Btw, I see the abbreviation definition thing's popping up... if I may, I'd like to suggest that it only appears on the first instance of any particular word in a blog post, as otherwise, when the dictionary gets added to and lots of words are defined, half the post will find itself being underlined.</description>
