Service Status update

May 4th, 2007 at 15:13 by cblack

After working on other items i am now back on the new Service Status tool project. So far our man in India has been nearing the completion of the core functionality and I am now going through it and working out how to integrate it into our system(s). Also, where should it go? A seperate domain, ie servicestatus.plus.net makes sense and we’d want to make it 100% or at least seperate to our core dbs and systems as whats the point of going to a website to see if something is down if that is down?!? Will add updates as I make progress and will stick some screen shots up or functional prototypes as and when I have them.

servicestatus.net would seem a goo place to put it ;)

We also use http://status.plus.net currently for our on-site SS pages.
