Changes to Expected Speed Pages

April 26th, 2007 at 17:54 by Ian Wild

In response to customer feedback we’ve now made a couple of updates to the web pages relating to expected broadband speeds

1. We’ve made the definitions of Download sites and Download servers completely transparent, with details of exactly what is included provided in a pop-up.

2. The expected downstream speeds of older products have been added to the ‘experience’ articles in the Broadband Product Archive. This has also been linked from the expected speed page.

Nothing has changed with the product designs themselves, although it should be noted that an earlier screenshot of these pages posted to a number of forums showed a 448Kbps Premier P2P limit between 12 – 2AM. This has now been removed.

The other major feedback relating to comparisons between our old and new products was that people wanted to see their 8AM – 4PM usage in VMBU. This has now been added to the next phase of the BBYW produyct roll-out and development of this will commence early next month.
